The regenerative braking system works when the vehicle is in motion. Energy created by the resistance of the brakes against the drivetrain is converted into DC voltage to partially recharge the battery. The driver can engage braking mode through the drive selector or use the paddle shifters to select the choice of regeneration – light/medium/strong. Single foot driving experience The system not only utilises the energy when the brakes are being used, but also engages when the vehicle is coasting, recovering more energy and enabling single foot driving as the brakes automatically engage when the throttle pedal is released.
Pre-conditioning prior to a journey enables
the cabin to be set to a comfortable 21°C for
a defined starting time. Whilst plugged into
charger this feature can minimise impact on
